Senior Data Product Partner - Spend & Control

• Join Perk as a Senior Data Product Partner for Spend & Control, working hybrid from London 3 days a week. • Act as the primary data consultant, strategist and relationship manager for the Spend & Control business domain. • Bridge the gap between business needs and complex data systems so that data assets are trustworthy, discoverable and impactful. • Move beyond providing solutions to proving demonstrable business impact from data work. • Define what to build and why, while the data teams own how it gets built. • Join a newly built team of Data Product Partners at a platform trusted by more than 12,000 companies.

• Bring experience as a data consultant, partner or strategist working directly with business stakeholders. • Show strong relationship management skills with business leaders and executives. • Use SQL and Looker confidently for lightweight ad-hoc analysis, validations and sanity checks. • Translate vague business requests into well-defined, measurable projects and technical data requirements. • Explain the same concept clearly to different audiences, from data specialists to executives. • Know how to prioritise demand, manage expectations and say no to requests that compromise the vision. • Live within commuting distance of the London hub and be able to work in person 3 days a week.

• Know the Spend & Control or wider fintech, SaaS or travel space. • Show experience tracking the ROI and business outcomes of data projects. • Bring a track record of coaching teams to self-serve data and raise data literacy. • Use AI tools to synthesise information and cut through manual work.

• Develop a business data strategy by working with business leaders to define how data can drive their goals. • Identify high-impact use cases that deliver measurable value, such as revenue growth, cost reduction or efficiency gains. • Shape and prioritise demand by turning business requests into well-defined projects for the data teams. • Manage the business unit's data portfolio, keeping it aligned with capacity and strategic priorities. • Triage ad-hoc requests, answer simple questions directly and hand over complex work to the right data teams. • Track value realisation by reporting on the actual outcomes and ROI of completed data products. • Spot recurring requests that signal gaps in dashboards, data quality or documentation and turn them into scalable data products. • Coach teams and champion data literacy so insights become concrete business actions.
