About the role

💼 What you will do

• Join Nearform’s Product function on an initial 6-month fixed-term contract, open to candidates based in the UK. • Oversee the development and execution of complex digital products as a strategic, hands-on product leader. • Collaborate closely with clients to define product vision, drive product strategy, and translate goals into actionable roadmaps. • Lead complex products or a portfolio of products across the full product lifecycle, depending on client goals. • Work alongside client stakeholders, engineers, and designers to uncover requirements and shape the roadmap around user needs. • Travel to client sites as required, with travel expenses covered by the company. • Note that you must be authorised to work in the UK without sponsorship.

📋 Job Requirements

🌟 Nice-to-have

• Bring previous experience in a Head of Product or equivalent role. • Bring experience leading a portfolio of products rather than a single product. • Bring experience working in a consultancy or client-facing delivery environment. • Let the Talent Team know if you need any adjustments to the interview process.

🎯 Responsibilities

• Translate business strategy into product strategy and execute it with engineering teams during delivery. • Define the product roadmap together with stakeholders. • Lead the ideation, development, and launch of new features. • Plan and deliver product launches, MVPs, and phased releases. • Share insights with stakeholders on the product, competitors, technical innovations, and the market. • Give product marketing clear insights on key differentiators and messaging. • Write requirements as epics, features, and user stories with clear acceptance criteria. • Define and uphold the Definition of Ready and Definition of Done. • Support grooming and refinement ceremonies with Tech Leads to keep requirements aligned with delivery goals. • Identify, document, and communicate risks, changes, or delays as early as possible. • Manage in-life products, including customer feedback, requirements, and issues. • Take part in daily scrums, planning, reviews, demos, and retrospectives alongside client teams.
