Senior AI Deployment Engineer

• Join Moneybox, the award-winning UK wealth management platform, in a hybrid role based in London. • Become one of the first engineers in a new AI Deployment team, reporting to the Head of AI Platforms & Deployment. • Work as a forward-deployed senior engineer who solves business problems with AI, not as an ML modeller. • Embed with departments to turn everyday processes into reliable, AI-enabled business systems. • Deploy AI components built by ML and Decisioning teams into live customer features. • Turn engagement patterns into safe, self-serve company-wide AI tooling. • Visit the London office by the Oxo Tower 2 days a week.

• Bring 5+ years of software engineering experience with meaningful production ownership. • Show that you have built and shipped LLM-powered systems that ran in production. • Write production-grade Python as your primary language. • Work with models via APIs, including harnesses, orchestration, structured output, tool use, agents and RAG. • Design evaluation sets and measure accuracy, recall and precision for LLM steps. • Apply safety practices such as PII handling, data-boundary discipline, prompt-injection awareness and human-in-the-loop design. • Optimise cost and performance through model selection, caching, batching, token economics and latency budgets. • Handle CI/CD, containerisation, and monitoring and alerting for AI workloads. • Bring strong data processing fundamentals, including pipelines, validation and anomaly handling. • Show experience delivering for non-engineering users in consultancy, forward-deployed, solutions or platform roles. • Be based in the UK and work from the London office 2 days a week.

• Bring experience with Azure or .NET. • Show experience with agent hosting and sandboxing platforms, LLM or MCP gateways, or agentic workflow tooling. • Bring experience in financial services or another regulated environment. • Show experience deploying data science models into customer-facing production systems.

• Own engagements end to end, from scoping vague problems with departments to stable production. • Design, build and deploy AI solutions, and agree the handover and ownership model. • Engineer pipelines, LLM API integrations, evals, guardrails, monitoring, and cost and accuracy optimisation. • Decide when a step must be deterministic and when an LLM is the right tool. • Rebuild shared, self-built tools as owned business systems under a full SDLC. • Deploy ML-built components into production in partnership with Decisioning, Data Science and engineering squads. • Turn engagement learnings into shared tooling, templates, playbooks and self-serve workflows. • Build platform components such as guardrails, sandboxing, workflows and gateways. • Work alongside embedded specialists and keep their knowledge within Moneybox.
