Senior Full Stack Product Engineer (TypeScript)

• Design and deliver high-impact features on the Product Engineering team at Maze, the #1 user research platform used by 100,000+ brands including Uber, Amazon, Atlassian, and Anthropic. • Take ownership of projects from concept to production, contribute to architectural decisions, write high-quality code, and help raise the technical bar across the team. • Work on elegant features for analysing qualitative data using both classical techniques and large language models, audience management, and video and scheduling tool integrations.

• Be proficient with modern full-stack JavaScript including Node.js and React, and relational databases such as PostgreSQL. • Be enthusiastic about well-tested code and strive to improve your work environment. • Have excellent written and spoken English skills. • Thrive in a remote environment.

• Have Next.js, NestJS, GraphQL, and/or TypeScript experience. • Have experience with AWS and/or Kubernetes. • Be interested in UX, UI design, and the research field.

• Partner closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to design, build, and ship new features. • Establish best practices, frameworks, and repeatable processes that enable measuring the impact of every feature shipped. • Evaluate and improve the performance, maintainability, and security of applications in production. • Work in a collaborative and open team which places high value on feedback, continuous learning, and trust. • Build features for user researchers to analyse and extract compelling insights from qualitative data using both classical techniques and large language models. • Expand audience management to help researchers connect with and reward participants from across the world. • Integrate video and scheduling tools to provide a streamlined experience for managing and booking user interviews.
