Mid-level Conceptual Copywriter

• Join KAYAK, the world’s leading travel search engine and part of Booking Holdings, in a full-time hybrid role in London. • Join a newly forming, idea-first creative hub covering the UK and EMEA. • Generate and craft bold, format-ready concepts from brief through to delivery. • Write for the channel, the audience and the moment across OOH, social media and short-form video. • Work alongside designers, video editors and production partners. • Work from the London office 3 days a week.

• Bring up to 7 years of creative experience with strong thinking and craft. • Show a portfolio rooted in campaign ideation and short-form copy rather than long-form editorial. • Demonstrate conceptual thinking and integrated campaign work across multiple channels. • Bring deep knowledge of how to write for OOH, social media and short-form content. • Tailor ideas to each format and audience rather than repurposing them. • Write tight video scripts and clear, actionable creative briefs. • Think in images as well as words, and understand how copy shapes visual direction. • Bring experience writing for short-form video formats such as Reels, TikTok and YouTube Shorts. • Work with a collaborative, ego-free mindset in a cross-cultural team. • Present and defend concepts confidently, adapting as briefs evolve. • Commute to the London office 3 days a week.

• Bring experience with film production processes. • Show a background from an advertising agency, creative agency or in-house creative team. • Bring experience using AI tools for ideation, storyboarding and concept exploration. • Show experience working alongside performance marketers and brand strategists.

• Conceive original campaign ideas across OOH, social media and short-form video scripts. • Write hooks, headlines, scripts and briefs that are sharp, format-aware and built to earn attention. • Collaborate with designers, video editors and production partners on campaign assets. • Adapt copy and concepts across formats as message, tone and structure shift. • Work with campaign managers, brand strategists and performance marketers to keep ideas executable. • Contribute ideas solo or as part of a wider team to unlock stronger creative directions. • Use AI tools for ideation, storyboarding and rapid concept exploration. • Keep a strong visual sensibility so copy and design shape the campaign together.
