Product Marketing Manager, DEX

• Shape how a decentralised exchange (DEX) shows up in the world. • Join Somnia, an Improbable venture building a Layer 1 designed to overcome the speed and cost limitations of traditional blockchain infrastructure, with fast, cost-efficient, fully EVM-compatible technology. • Take a hands-on role that calls for deep understanding of onchain trading and its audiences, from alpha groups and trading communities through to professional traders. • Turn that understanding into messaging that resonates, working closely with Product and the Head of Marketing on positioning, growth, and how the product is talked about in the market. • Work remotely from anywhere internationally.

• Bring solid experience in product marketing or a related role, including meaningful hands-on work in Web3, consumer fintech, or trading products. • Have experience with retail trading products or exchanges, whether DEX or CEX, and genuinely understand how order books and derivatives or perps work. • Show a track record of leading product launches end to end with measurable results. • Have owned positioning and messaging for a product or protocol and executed go-to-market campaigns across channels. • Grasp crypto-native culture and communities strongly, including X, Discord, and Web3 platforms. • Work analytically, comfortable defining and tracking growth, retention, and adoption metrics. • Operate hands-on in a fast-moving environment with significant ownership.

• Have marketed perpetuals or onchain derivatives specifically. • Have run growth mechanics such as leaderboards, rebates, or referral programmes. • Have translated technical protocol detail for audiences new to onchain trading. • Have worked alongside a founding or early-stage marketing team.

• Own positioning and messaging across core audiences, including alpha groups, trading communities, and professional traders. • Craft a clear differentiation story grounded in the product's strengths. • Simplify a technical product narrative so it lands with experienced traders and people coming onchain for the first time. • Lead go-to-market activity for launches, product capabilities, and ecosystem features, from brief through to post-launch measurement. • Act as the team's expert on the onchain derivatives and trading landscape, covering trends, trader insights, and market takeaways. • Turn market intelligence into positioning, product recommendations, and growth tactics. • Support adoption and retention through tactics such as community leaderboards, yield-based rebates, and referral mechanics.
