📋 Job Requirements
• Feel passionate about educating customers on observability risks that matter to their business, and build and execute an evaluation plan with them.
• Communicate strongly in writing and in person, articulating both the business value and the technical advantages of the offering.
• Have programming or scripting experience with any of Java, Python, Ruby, Go, Node.js, PHP, or .NET.
• Have a minimum of 3+ years in a Sales Engineering or DevOps Engineering role.
• Be able to sit up to 4 hours while travelling to and from client sites.
• Be able to travel by car, train, or air up to 45% of the time.

🎯 Responsibilities
• Partner with the Sales team to articulate the overall Datadog value proposition, vision, and strategy to customers.
• Own technical engagement with customers during the trial phase, communicating Datadog's value and resolving any issues or concerns they raise.
• Technically close complex opportunities through advanced competitive knowledge, technical skill, and credibility.
• Deliver product and technical briefings and presentations to potential clients.
• Keep accurate notes and feedback in the CRM on customer input from both wins and losses.
• Proactively engage and communicate with customers and Datadog business and technical teams on product feedback and the competitive landscape.
