Partner Solutions Architect (Pan-EMEA GSI)

• Join Datadog's in-house product experts on the technical solutions team, which fuels worldwide growth by educating potential clients and keeping existing customers happy and successful. • Act as a Datadog expert aligned to the Channels & Alliances business segment, working closely with the Director of Partner Solutions Architects. • Support technical initiatives for partners such as cloud migration, application modernisation, and DevOps transformation, and stay accountable for their outcomes. • Serve as the trusted technical advisor for the partner channel, collaborating with both Datadog and partner resources to drive success. • Work from the London, Amsterdam, Madrid, or Stockholm office, or remotely from Germany or Italy.

• Possess a solid technical grounding with hands-on experience in IT development or operations. • Show a demonstrable track record and a never-ending passion for learning, typically built over 10-15 years in a customer or partner facing technical role. • Work as a self-starter with technical savvy and solid business acumen, articulating Datadog value from the server room to the boardroom. • Present confidently to technical and business audiences. • Bring hands-on experience in two or more of observability tooling (Datadog, Splunk, AppDynamics, New Relic, Dynatrace), public cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP, Alibaba), containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Cloud Foundry), scripting (Python, JavaScript, Ruby, Perl, PHP, Go), config management (Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, Chef), and CI/CD (Jenkins, GitLab).

• Have worked in a technical role for or supporting channel partners such as Systems Integrators or Managed Services Providers. • Have used Datadog or other cloud monitoring tools covering APM, infrastructure, logs, synthetics, and NPM. • Have experience with root-cause analysis, troubleshooting, and debugging.

• Ensure the successful onboarding, training, enablement, and certification of partner technical resources. • Take part in periodic joint business planning and review sessions to keep Datadog and partner technical teams aligned. • Collaborate internally to support partner technical initiatives, including end-customer demonstrations, proofs of value, enablement workshops, and coaching on lead practices. • Advocate for partners' technical concerns such as use cases, feature requests, and support issues with internal Datadog teams, and drive those concerns to resolution. • Analyse partner service offerings regularly and recommend ways to enhance their value through greater adoption of Datadog features. • Collaborate with product management, engineering, and technical services teams to identify and prioritise new features and capabilities. • Curate and evolve best practices for Datadog platform adoption and success.
