Posted on 18 August 2026New

About the role

💼 What you will do

• Develop and execute regional field marketing programmes that drive pipeline, build brand awareness, and deliver strong customer experiences across the UK and Ireland. • Take on a true field marketing remit spanning campaigns, account-based marketing, and events rather than event execution alone. • Partner closely with Sales, Demand Gen/ABM, Partner Marketing, and Communications to bring Datadog's go-to-market strategy to life in market. • Focus the first 6 months on planning and executing a curated slate of first and third-party events and sponsorships across the region. • Work from the London office as part of Datadog's hybrid workplace.

📋 Job Requirements

• Have 4-7 years of B2B field marketing experience spanning campaigns and events, with direct ownership of a regional field marketing programme and budget. • Show a proven track record of building and executing field marketing programmes, including managing third-party sponsorship relationships under tight timelines and fixed budgets. • Own a budget comfortably and make trade-off calls that protect ROI. • Stay highly organised and deadline-driven while juggling multiple concurrent programmes across a region. • Collaborate strongly, aligning Sales, Demand Gen, Partner Marketing, and Communications around shared goals. • Work in a data-driven way, tracking pipeline impact and reporting results to leadership. • Communicate clearly in English. • Be willing to travel up to 40-50% within the region during peak event season.

🌟 Nice-to-have

• Have worked in enterprise technology or SaaS. • Have run field marketing across both the UK and Ireland. • Have negotiated and managed third-party sponsorship contracts directly. • Have experience growing a regional remit beyond events into broader campaign ownership.

🎯 Responsibilities

• Develop and execute regional field marketing programmes, covering campaigns, account-based marketing, and events, that drive pipeline and strengthen Datadog's brand in market. • Own the marketing pipeline generation outcome from conception through execution to results. • Evaluate and prioritise third-party sponsorship opportunities based on audience fit, brand visibility, and pipeline potential. • Partner with Sales, field marketing teams, and Demand Gen/ABM to align target account lists, build pipeline-driving campaigns, and convert event engagement into qualified pipeline. • Collaborate with Communications and Partner Marketing to align messaging and co-marketing opportunities across programmes. • Own on-site logistics and execution for events, delivering a high-touch, on-brand experience for customers, prospects, and partners. • Track and report on programme and event performance, including pipeline influenced, cost-per-lead, and attendee quality, and use the data to optimise continuously. • Act as the regional point of contact for field marketing strategy, keeping regional leadership and global marketing ops aligned on status and risks. • Build towards a broader regional field marketing remit beyond events as the role and region mature.
