Technical Architect

• Be the technical partner CSMs pull into the room whenever the work gets technical — for enterprise customers, that's most of the time. • One week run an advanced Claude Code hackathon for 1,000 engineers at a global bank, the next walk a CISO through data handling, SSO, and governance controls, then pair-build a plugin with a customer's platform team. • Build and ship working software (Claude Code plugins, agents, sub-agents, MCP integrations, Cowork skills) both as customer deliverables and as reusable field assets. • Be based in London with a hybrid policy expecting at least 25% of time in the office, with regular on-site travel to customers.

• Build real software — you've shipped it, you've used Claude Code or comparable AI coding tools yourself, and you can stand behind your engineering choices. • Hold the room — be at ease as the technical voice in front of senior developers, IT and security leaders, and non-technical stakeholders, often in the same hour, staying calm and useful when something breaks live. • Be comfortable in the messy middle — get pulled into ambiguous customer situations and develop solutions in real time. • Be service-oriented — helping a colleague or customer get unstuck is the part of the day you look forward to. • Be available for regular on-site travel to customers. • Think about responsible use — have built with LLMs hands-on with an instinct for how they should be used responsibly and effectively inside organisations.

• Have hands-on depth with enterprise identity (SAML, OIDC, SCIM) across major IdPs (Okta, Entra ID, Ping, Google Workspace) and with security review processes (SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, FedRAMP). • Have experience running on or supporting Bedrock, Vertex, or multi-cloud LLM deployments. • Have experience with regulated customers (financial services, healthcare, public sector) and delivering alongside SI/GSI partners. • Have a track record of public technical communication through YouTube, blogs, in-person talks, workshops, courses, or writing. • Have spent time in a pre-sales solutions, post-sales, support, implementation, or technical account role.

• Be the technical lead in customer-facing moments across the post-sale journey: onboarding workshops, developer hackathons, live troubleshooting, executive security reviews, and adoption working sessions. • Build and ship working software including Claude Code plugins, agents, sub-agents, MCP integrations, and Cowork skills as both customer deliverables and reusable field assets. • Drive adoption of Claude Code capabilities that make the product stick (sub-agents, skills, hooks, MCP, headless mode, managed settings) and turn new capabilities into field-ready demos and guides within days of release. • Own enterprise deployment and identity conversations: SSO (SAML/OIDC), SCIM provisioning, role, seat, and spend-limit management, sandbox and permission design. • Advise and unblock customers running production workloads on the Anthropic API and on Bedrock/Vertex, in close partnership with Applied AI. • Design and deliver enablement that turns users into daily active developers, for audiences ranging from senior staff engineers to business users new to AI. • Represent Anthropic at customer all-hands and builder events, and bring structured field signal back to the Claude Code and Cowork product teams. • Partner tightly with CSMs as their technical counterpart, and with Applied AI, security specialists, Product Support, Engineering, and Sales.
