Engineering Manager, Guest & Host

• Bring 5+ years of engineering management experience. • Show 9+ years of software development experience in a fast-paced tech environment. • Bring deep expertise in backend systems and complex data modelling for large-scale consumer apps. • Communicate and present clearly to technical and non-technical audiences. • Take an end-to-end, product-oriented approach that crosses team boundaries. • Make good trade-offs between short-term business needs and long-term technical quality. • Find common ground with teams that have conflicting goals and priorities.

• Bring experience applying machine learning to consumer product features. • Show experience building marketplace or two-sided platform products. • Bring experience in travel or hospitality technology. • Show experience leading teams through rapid prototyping and experimentation.

• Shape and build new product experiences with design and product, from idea to scale. • Lead investment in new technical capabilities that unlock product innovation. • Plan and sequence feature delivery with engineers and communicate delivery plans. • Integrate new features with peer engineering teams across the product. • Strengthen partnerships with Engineering, Design and Product stakeholders. • Recruit engineers and build tailored career development plans through regular 1:1s. • Foster an inclusive culture of collaboration, technical excellence and innovation.
