Senior Product Data Scientist

• Join Tripadvisor Experiences as a Senior Product Data Scientist, working remotely from the UK. • Become the cornerstone of advanced analytics within Product. • Help set the vision for how data science solves the team’s hardest problems. • Build statistical models that drive personalisation, recommendations and product strategy. • Mentor a team of product analysts and define the Product Data Science roadmap. • Explore new approaches, including agentic AI, from proof of concept to adoption.

• Bring significant experience in data science or a similar quantitative role supporting a product organisation. • Write advanced Python and SQL. • Show deep experience with statistical modelling, quasi-experimentation, multi-armed bandits and ML techniques. • Define, implement and operationalise product and feature-level metrics from scratch. • Lead technical discussions and influence product strategy with cross-functional partners. • Scale your impact through automation, self-service tools or data products. • Hold a bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Maths, Data Science, Engineering, Physics, Economics or a related field.

• Bring an advanced programming background to build simulations and prototype data products. • Show experience validating quantitative findings with surveys or user research. • Bring experience with applied AI such as NLP, LLMs or agentic AI for analytics. • Show deep experience building customer segmentation and predictive LTV models. • Bring experience in a two-sided marketplace, e-commerce or travel technology.

• Lead the development of data science within Product with models that shape the customer experience. • Scale the Product Analytics team through automation and self-service model capability. • Build predictive, classification and clustering models for personalisation and recommendations. • Explore agentic AI and AI agents through proofs of concept and drive adoption. • Partner with Product, Design and Engineering to find high-impact opportunities. • Design and analyse complex A/B tests, causal inference and uplift models. • Mentor product analysts in experimentation and modelling best practice. • Communicate complex insights clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
