Frontend Software Engineer

• Join a brand-new engineering hub in London as one of its foundational Frontend Software Engineers. • Build a completely new team and hub from scratch, working remotely from the rest of the global Tech organisation. • Help define, build, and deliver product features as an integral part of a new product team. • Work towards specific outcomes with the freedom and responsibility to figure out the best way to achieve them alongside your team. • Refine, design, implement, deliver, and maintain an international top-class product with quality, maintainability, and sustainability in mind. • Work on a single-page React application localised into multiple languages, built with TypeScript, RTK Query, MUI, and react-router. • Run the SPA locally with Vite or Webpack DevServer, including hot module replacement, against test server endpoints. • Work hybrid with two days a week in the London office.

• Bring strong experience in modern frontend web development. • Bring proven production experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, DOM manipulation, HTML, and CSS or MUI. • Understand React.js deeply, including state, props, context, hooks, and modern architectural patterns. • Bring experience with state management solutions such as Redux, RTK Query, or the React Context API, plus client-side routing. • Bring experience with common frontend tooling, testing, and CI frameworks such as Vite, Webpack, NPM, ESLint, Jest, and Playwright. • Show proven success building scalable, responsive visual interfaces with strong cross-browser compatibility and user experience design sensibilities. • Bring familiarity with RESTful APIs, modern integration patterns, and code versioning tools such as Git. • Enjoy actively participating in a cross-functional product team and take pride in writing clean, high-quality code. • Submit your CV and cover letter in English through the Too Good To Go platform, as applications by email or LinkedIn are not accepted.
