Technical Account Management (TAM) Leader

• Join Supabase as Technical Account Management (TAM) Leader, working fully remotely from anywhere in the world. • Own the health, direction and performance of the whole TAM function. • Take accountability for a named-account book of around $33.1M ARR across 120 accounts, plus partner-mapped accounts. • Work as a player-coach, developing TAMs so the team stays proactive rather than reactive. • Act as the senior escalation layer on complex, high-impact customer issues. • Represent patterns across the whole book to engineering, product and sales leadership.

• Bring a background in engineering, SRE or technical consulting. • Show a track record of leading a technical, customer-facing team. • Go deep on database internals, scalability, security and infrastructure trade-offs. • Show experience hiring, coaching and growing a technical team. • Judge coverage across 100+ accounts and a partner book. • Lead calmly as the senior voice in high-severity, multi-stakeholder incidents. • Brief executives on portfolio health and coach TAMs through root cause analysis. • Understand how TAM performance drives net revenue retention.

• Bring hands-on experience with Postgres. • Show experience with Grafana, Hex, pgAdmin or HubSpot. • Bring experience managing technical partner relationships. • Show experience building TAM playbooks and runbooks.

• Hire, onboard and coach TAMs, and set individual development plans. • Build repeatable playbooks for upgrades, optimisation and escalations. • Own the coverage model and run quarterly refreshes of account assignments. • Close coverage gaps, approve exceptions and make tier decisions. • Make sure onboarding, environment reviews and risk tracking happen across the book. • Coordinate support, engineering and success during major incidents and own the escalation SLA. • Share aggregated customer feedback with engineering and product. • Partner with Sales, Success and Partnerships on account health and retention.
