Regulatory Counsel (Payments)

• Advise on compliance and legal issues around Revolut’s payment features as a Regulatory Legal Counsel. • Take on a breadth of work and level of commercial involvement that is unusual for an in-house role. • Hold a large degree of responsibility for Revolut’s ongoing development and growth. • Join a Legal team that turns complexity into clarity, giving practical advice that lets the business move fast while staying protected. • Work across everything from structuring credit programmes to navigating new markets. • Engage and work alongside European and local regulators. • Work remotely from the UK, or from the London office, with the role also open across Poland, Portugal, and Spain.

• Bring 6+ years PQE. • Bring excellent academic and law firm credentials. • Bring experience advising on financial regulations in Europe. • Bring experience with PSD2 and CRD. • Bring sound judgement, composure under pressure, and a collaborative mindset. • Make decisions confidently where there is ambiguity or incomplete information. • Bring exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills. • Speak fluent English. • Excel at leadership while still taking on executional work yourself.

• Bring experience structuring banking products alongside payments. • Bring experience drafting customer-facing legal documents at scale. • Bring experience managing regulatory applications through to approval. • Bring in-house experience at a fast-growing fintech. • Speak additional European languages for work with local regulators. • Bring experience handling complex legal matters on short turnaround times.

• Advise on the structuring of new and existing financial products across payments and banking. • Draft customer-facing legal documents for those products. • Help structure and expand products while managing regulatory expectations, requirements, and applications. • Engage and work alongside European and local regulators. • Handle significant and complex legal matters with short turnaround times. • Combine leadership with hands-on executional work.
