Legal Counsel

• Join Omnea’s growing Legal team as the second lawyer, reporting to the Head of Legal. • Take real ownership across commercial, corporate, and compliance work as the business scales rapidly. • Act as a trusted advisor across the business, leading enterprise negotiations and advising on product and data protection. • Support corporate transactions, fundraising, and international expansion into multiple markets. • Help drive the compliance and infosec agenda, including AI capabilities and user privacy. • Work with a broad remit and significant autonomy to shape how Legal supports Omnea’s growth. • Work from the London office on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.

• Be a qualified solicitor with training from a top law firm and at least 3 years’ PQE. • Bring proven expertise negotiating and closing complex, high-volume SaaS agreements with enterprise clients. • Bring demonstrable experience with data privacy and international compliance frameworks, including GDPR, SCCs, and DPAs. • Advise confidently on complex cross-border data transfer and regulatory issues. • Manage competing priorities at scale and make sound judgement calls under pressure with incomplete information. • Show genuine interest in how AI and legal tech can transform legal work, and drive adoption and experimentation. • Offer reliable judgement on commercial strategy as well as legal matters. • Communicate complex issues clearly to leadership and customers. • Manage large portfolios of concurrent negotiations and stakeholders while keeping attention to detail. • Be able to work from the London office three days a week.

• Review, draft, and negotiate enterprise agreements, including MSAs, SLAs, and DPAs. • Work with enterprise sales and customer success to remove legal roadblocks and negotiate terms that close deals without compromising risk. • Manage high-volume enterprise contract workflows and triage negotiations to unblock deals. • Build and maintain negotiation playbooks and fallback positions to speed up deal cycles. • Advise product, engineering, and security on the legal and compliance implications of new features, especially data handling, AI, and privacy. • Conduct legal reviews of product releases against evolving privacy regulations and customer commitments. • Help the product team develop compliance documentation, feature specifications, and AI policies for enterprise prospects. • Support corporate and strategic projects, including fundraising and international expansion.
