About the role

💼 What you will do

• Advise on investments and private banking services within Revolut's Legal team. • Help launch new features and expand into new territories. • Turn complexity into clarity by providing sharp, practical advice that helps the business move fast while staying protected.

📋 Job Requirements

• Have 4+ years of wealth and trading experience covering investment services, financial markets, and/or asset management. • Have 6+ years of experience as a private-practice lawyer at a top law firm. • Bring expertise advising on MiFID II, MiFIR, EMIR, PRIIPs, and UCITS implementation, and providing legal support related to associated policies and contractual frameworks. • Have a business-oriented mindset to find actionable solutions to legal and regulatory challenges. • Be able to take ownership and work independently in ambiguous situations. • Show a genuine interest in the financial markets industry. • Have broad-based securities and/or asset management experience. • Hold a good understanding of financial markets and complex financial instruments. • Demonstrate exceptional project management and communication skills. • Have strong problem-solving and decision-making skills with the ability to analyse complex information, identify key issues, and drive resolution. • Hold excellent academic and law firm credentials.

🎯 Responsibilities

• Launch investment products and services, from conducting legal assessments to preparing customer-facing documents and providing ongoing support. • Advise the business on complex legal and regulatory issues around structuring new products, marketing, and promotion of investment products. • Research a range of complex legal and regulatory questions and provide legal analyses and recommendations to support business initiatives and decisions. • Advise on resolutions of customer complaints and disputes. • Collaborate with Commercial Legal Counsels in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating regulatory parts of agreements and legal documents. • Draft, plan, and implement compliance policies and procedures for regulatory matters for investment products. • Identify, manage, and report on operational, legal, regulatory, and compliance risk in relation to investment products.
