Litigation Counsel

• Join Cloudflare's litigation team managing litigation matters around the world for the company that runs one of the world's largest networks powering millions of websites and Internet properties. • Navigate a diverse set of global legal issues including intellectual property, contracts, business disputes, regulatory issues, labour and employment, and intermediary liability as an Internet infrastructure provider. • Confront novel legal issues in a fast-paced environment while never losing sight of Cloudflare's core principles and mission to help build a better Internet. • Work hybrid from Cloudflare's London office.

• Be admitted to practise law in the US or the UK. • Have 4+ years PQE either in a law firm or in-house, preferably with technology companies. • Have experience litigating cases in one or more jurisdictions. • Demonstrate strong communication skills and be a cooperative team player. • Lead with empathy and understanding while embracing diverse points of view. • Adapt and thrive in a fast-paced environment with flexibility. • Work cross-functionally with lawyers and non-lawyers to establish principled, thoughtful, and effective solutions efficiently. • Organise, prioritise, and manage many tasks on complex projects. • Have an ambitious mindset that enables you to work independently and autonomously with limited guidance, while using good judgement to call out issues when needed.

• Have in-house litigation experience specifically at a technology company. • Bring experience with intermediary liability, Internet law, or content moderation legal issues. • Have experience working with government regulators on technology-related matters. • Bring familiarity with AI and emerging technology legal issues. • Have experience selecting, onboarding, and managing outside counsel across multiple jurisdictions.

• Work with the existing litigation team to help formulate and implement litigation strategies. • Evaluate and respond to litigation threats and legal matters in various jurisdictions around the world. • Help select, onboard, and manage outside counsel on all aspects of litigation including factual development, briefing, hearings, trials, appeals, and more. • Work cross-functionally to further develop Cloudflare's approach to intermediary liability, AI, and other emerging legal and technology issues globally. • Assist in responding to and working with government regulators and private organisations on issues relating to Cloudflare's products and services. • Communicate with business leaders across the company about ongoing litigation and litigation threats, and provide training and resources to address future legal risks.
