Trust and Safety Policy, Ads Policy, Lead (Europe)

• Join Reddit as Ads Policy Lead for Europe, working fully remotely from the UK. • Drive the research and development of large-scale policies across Reddit’s global advertising platform. • Act as the subject matter expert for ads policy in the EMEA region. • Work in a senior individual contributor role with no people management, reporting to the Head of Ads Policy. • Partner with Legal, Sales, Operations, Product and Trust & Safety on cutting-edge challenges. • Help Reddit scale its advertising business responsibly around the world.

• Bring 7+ years of experience in compliance, standards or policy development and implementation. • Show significant experience in tech, digital platforms, advertising, Trust and Safety or a related policy area. • Own complex policy projects end to end, researching, drafting and maintaining policies independently. • Bring deep expertise in advertising or content policy on an international scale. • Show experience advising global teams and stakeholders across multiple jurisdictions. • Translate complex policy and regulatory matters into simple business terms. • Turn ambiguous problems into structured decision documents that set out risks and trade-offs.

• Bring direct experience working on advertising policies at a major tech platform. • Use AI tools to streamline workflows and scale processes with limited resources. • Bring experience with EMEA advertising regulations. • Show experience handling high-profile policy escalations.

• Develop, draft and maintain strategic advertising policies across Reddit’s ads products. • Act as the ads policy subject matter expert for the EMEA region. • Write risk assessments and policy recommendations for senior and executive stakeholders. • Make the final call on complex, grey-area ads policy escalations. • Guide and support teammates as a senior peer leader. • Model Reddit’s company values in your work.
