Business Risk Manager (Operational Resilience)

• Oversee and enhance Revolut's ability to withstand and recover from disruptions, ensuring the continuity of critical operations and services. • Collaborate with service owners, Compliance, Risk, and service delivery teams to ensure proper documentation and reporting related to operational resilience.

• Hold a bachelor's degree in business administration, risk management, or a related field. • Have 6+ years of experience in operational resilience, risk management, or business continuity within the financial industry. • Have a solid understanding of regulatory requirements, industry standards, and best practices related to operational resilience and continuity planning. • Demonstrate excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. • Have impeccable communication, deal-making, and stakeholder management skills. • Be proficient in relevant tools and technologies used for risk assessment, resilience, and continuity planning.

• Have basic SQL skills. • Hold a Business Continuity Institute Accreditation. • Have experience implementing regulatory frameworks for operational resilience, including Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA) and FCA PS21/3.

• Partner with departments and functions to assess and build resilient operations. • Support global entities with their local operational resilience requirements. • Design, implement, and test contingency plans, including business continuity plans, disaster recovery plans, crisis management procedures, and scenario playbooks. • Lead the group stress testing programme, designing complex failure scenarios and running business simulations. • Support executives during crisis events to protect customers and the company. • Conduct lessons-learned activities following major events to continually improve procedures. • Work closely with Product and Data teams to build a world-class resiliency function. • Use data and quantitative analysis to understand business operations and implement resilience strategies. • Provide regular reports to senior management on the status of business continuity initiatives and recommended improvements. • Monitor emerging risks and industry trends, adapting resilience strategies to evolving threats and business needs.
