Senior Analytics Engineer

• Join Paddle, the Merchant of Record that removes payment fragmentation for digital product companies, in a full-time remote role. • Shape the data infrastructure and build robust data models in Snowflake and dbt. • Promote best practices in analytics engineering, from data quality to scalable architecture. • Work with business stakeholders to identify and deliver high-value data solutions. • Drive adoption of BI tooling across the organisation through training. • Mentor junior analytics engineers and help grow team capability.

• Bring extensive experience in analytics engineering or a related data role. • Show demonstrated expertise in advanced SQL, dbt and Snowflake. • Use BI tools such as Tableau, Looker, Power BI or Snowsight to deliver actionable insight. • Handle data ingestion and activation with no-code tools such as Fivetran or Stitch. • Manage metadata, documentation, data quality checks and sensitive data masking. • Collaborate closely with diverse stakeholders and understand their data needs. • Run training sessions and mentor junior analytics engineers informally. • Be based in the UK, Ireland or Portugal.

• Bring experience building self-service analytics for non-technical teams. • Show experience pushing data from a warehouse into operational tools. • Bring experience designing data quality frameworks. • Show experience working in a payments or fintech data environment.

• Create and maintain complex, scalable data models in Snowflake using dbt. • Expose datasets in BI tooling to enable robust self-service analytics. • Perform data ingestion tasks with no-code tools and keep data flows streamlined. • Add metadata to datasets, including documentation, quality checks and sensitive data masking. • Activate data by pushing it from Snowflake into other operational tools. • Raise data quality issues proactively with the relevant process owners. • Lead training sessions that drive adoption of BI tools across the business. • Mentor junior analytics engineers and encourage knowledge-sharing.
