• Own the translation layer between every sales play, programme change, funding update, and PRM release across MongoDB's partner ecosystem and the people who need to use them.
• Carry a dual mandate: enable external partners (SIs, ISVs, and cloud partners) to sell, deliver, and support MongoDB effectively, and enable the internal partner organisation to stay current on products, programmes, and changes.
• Report to the VP of Partner Strategic Operations and build the enablement function into the connective tissue for the entire partner organisation.
📋 Job Requirements
• Bring 10+ years of experience in partner enablement, channel enablement, or sales enablement at a B2B SaaS or infrastructure/data company, including experience leading a team.
• Have a track record of building enablement programmes for external partners (certification, onboarding, content) and demonstrated experience enabling an internal revenue or partner organisation.
• Have experience with LMS platforms, partner portals, and content/certification tracking tools.
• Bring strong instincts for what makes enablement content actually get used — concise, well-timed, and tied to a real change.
• Demonstrate excellent cross-functional collaboration skills, comfortable working with Sales Plays & Offerings, Partner Programs, Cloud & Hyperscaler Programs, Digital Process & AI Operations, and the PRM product team.
• Bring strong programme and people-management skills, with experience building and prioritising a small enablement team's roadmap.
• Communicate excellently in written and verbal form, able to translate technical or programme-level change into clear, actionable enablement content for different audiences.
🌟 Nice-to-have
• Have experience running a partner certification programme at scale such as technical or sales certifications with defined tiers.
• Bring familiarity with PRM platforms and how enablement content and certification tracking integrate with them.
• Have experience with AI-assisted content creation or delivery tools to scale enablement production.
• Bring background in database, cloud infrastructure, or developer-focused technology.
🎯 Responsibilities
• Define and own a single enablement strategy covering two audiences: external partners and MongoDB's internal partner organisation.
• Build the operating model, governance, and content standards that keep both tracks coherent, current, and tied to the same source of truth.
• Prioritise enablement investment based on business impact.
• Own partner onboarding, certification pathways including SI Associate and SI Architect tracks, and ongoing training content.
• Partner with the Sales Plays & Offerings lead to translate every new joint offering into partner-facing enablement assets.
• Design and run delivery mechanisms such as workshops, on-demand training, partner summits, and webinars fitted to different partner types.
• Own a standing internal enablement cadence that keeps the whole partner org current on product updates, programme and funding changes, and platform releases.
• Treat every significant change from Partner Programs or the PRM roadmap as an enablement event, ensuring the internal team knows what's coming and how to talk about it.
• Build simple, reusable internal enablement formats such as briefings, quick-reference guides, and office hours.
• Own the tooling and infrastructure behind enablement delivery including LMS, partner portal content, and certification tracking.
• Define and track enablement impact metrics: certification completion, content engagement, time-to-productivity, and correlation between enablement activity and partner-sourced pipeline.
• Continuously retire outdated content and simplify the enablement footprint as programmes and products evolve.
